PERSONAL CARE

Personal Care Attendants provide an extra level of personal support for our clients at home, in the hospital, nursing home, or assisted living environment by promoting security, comfort and companionship.

 

Our attendants enhance our clients' quality of life by promoting independence, security, social interaction, friendship, and personal attention. 

Who is eligible?

- All Medicaid recipients age 65 or older, or age 21 or older with disabilities, meet the medical standards for admission to a nursing facility and imminent risk criteria, and be able to participate in his/her care and direct the services provided by the worker independantly or through a responsible representative.

 

- Applicants must require at least limited assistance with at least one Activity of Daily Living.
